Administrative Support Associate with Strong Tech Skills Wanted!
VantageVue, a Fractional CFO & Accounting firm, is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Administrative Support Associate with strong technical skills and a natural curiosity to learn and improve. About the Role
As our Administrative Assistant, you’ll be essential in helping our team stay organized and efficient. We’re looking for someone who not only manages tasks but also looks for ways to improve how we work — someone who asks questions, explores new tools, and finds better solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare reports, presentations, and internal documents with accuracy and attention to detail
Organize and maintain electronic files and shared folders
Support data entry and light reporting in Excel (advanced knowledge preferred)
Assist with light bookkeeping and document preparation (experience with QuickBooks Online or other accounting software is a plus, but not required)
Provide general administrative support, including:
Scheduling meetings and coordinating appointments
Managing team logistics and onboarding tasks
Ordering supplies and maintaining internal documentation
Offering light marketing support, including blog and social media assistance
Identify areas for improvement and help implement smarter, tech-enabled workflows
Ideal Candidate
We’re looking for someone who is:
Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable working with spreadsheets and formulas
Naturally curious and willing to research solutions when faced with a challenge
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities
Familiar with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, or similar productivity tools
Comfortable learning new systems and streamlining processes through technology
Interested in marketing or communication support as part of their administrative role
Self-motivated with strong follow-through and a collaborative mindset
Experience with QuickBooks Online or other accounting tools is a bonus, but we’re happy to train the right person.
Location & Schedule
This role is primarily hybrid — most work will be done remotely, but some in-person time (up to one week per month) may be scheduled. In-person meetings will take place at coworking centers in or near Maple Grove or Rogers, MN.
Candidates located in the Twin Cities metro area are strongly preferred to support collaboration and occasional on-site needs.
